You’ve settled on a limousine company that your comfortable with. They have exactly the limousine you’ve been looking for. You think the hardest part of your search is over. Your ready to sign the contract, wait just a minute.  Lets put our thinking caps on and discuss this.  Yes, if your 18 years old you can legally sign a binding contract in the state of New York.  However,  owners of limousine companies prefer your parents sign the contract.  If something goes wrong during prom night, like overtime or intentional damage to the vehicle, the signer of the contract is responsible for the cost of the repairs or the cost of overtime. So mom, dad, here we are in the limousine company’s office, ready to sign a contract wherein you will be responsible for 15 to 50 kids that you really don’t know.  We at Five Towns Limousine understand your frustration and the dilemma your in.  How do we get 15 to 50 parents to be equally responsible for this venture so one parent is not fully responsible if something negative should happen. Well, we do have a solution for you, an extra document in addition to the contract, a document that all parents must sign and include their credit card information, indicating that they will share with the responsibility should there be a need, we call it ” The Prom Contract Addendum”.  This document is usually passed to the students and they present the form  to their respective parents to fill out.  In turn the parents fax this form directly to our office where they are held until after the prom and then destroyed if not needed. There is usually a cap on the dollar amount ($195.00) should the need arise.  We highly recommend you use this form when moving forward in securing limousine transportation for your child and their friends. Have the limousine company contact us though our web site (contact us) and we will be happy to furnish them with a copy of  “The Prom Contact Addendum”.  Good luck and congratulations on your child’s milestone.
