Social Media and Party Buses: Be Careful What You Post

Renting a party bus for a night out on the town is supposed to be a fun experience. You’re not supposed to worry about driving and getting stuck in traffic. Your focus should be on having a good time with friends and family.

That shouldn’t mean inappropriate antics should occur while riding on a party bus.

Social Networking sites like Facebook and You Tube are popular places for teens to exchange photos and videos from nights out with friends. Sometimes, teens can’t wait until they get home to post pictures and update their statuses that they upload pictures while still on the party bus, or at a party.

Last week, police in Ontario arrested three 16-year-old high school students for public intoxication and  issued multiple underage drinking charges.

The teenagers uploaded videos on the Internet of them partying on a party bus.

It means to be smart when out with friends for the evening. Remember that thanks to cell phones, a video can always be recorded, and a picture can always be taken.
